Life is for living!
Our destinations
With a great love for Africa, I can plan any programme using in-country travel providers, guides and communities. I have visited the countries and places pinned in yellow below but can source excellent ethical & sustainable travel providers across Central, Eastern & Southern Africa.
"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together!"

Why Africa?
I have had a love for the African continent since I was at primary school and vowed I would visit every country... I am not doing too well, as I keep sticking to the same countries. I have visited 35 places in South Africa alone including some of my favourite places; Cape Town, the Western Cape and KZN.
Help me expand my range - I have visited 5 to date, only 51 to go!

College & university group tours
After 15 years of taking 16-60+ year old students to the South African bush, I am well equipped for organising, coordinating and leading group programmes. Working with a friend in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, we can organise any curriculum related tours for groups of 6-20.
Our programmes are designed to accommodate a wide range of learners, with a heavy focus on nature conservation and community empowerment.
We are rolling out our brand new programme, for Animal Care & Management T-level students, to form part of their 2nd placement, within the Industry Placement module.

The wonderful world of Southern Africa
Having visited over 35 places in South Africa, I have experienced many wonderful places and have many great memories to build my programmes from. I have experience of the Eastern & Western Cape, Limpopo, Mpulanga and KwaZulu-Natal Provinces and have visited 5 National Parks, 7 Private Game Reserves & 2 Wetland Reserves - how lucky am I?

The wider world of Africa
Despite not visiting many other African countries myself, my colleagues African Wanderer work across Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia & Zimbabwe. I can set up with some highly experienced nature guides to tour you around these countries.... and who knows, I may come too!
Further afield, my wonderful colleagues at AJ Tours and Travel in Uganda can offer wildlife tours within Uganda, Rwanda and the DRC. We can also organise tours in Kenya and Tanzania so your choice is getting bigger.
Gorillas, chimps & pangolins.... Uganda 27
This programme has been written by myself and a close friend who lived and breathed Uganda for many years. Alongside his finest travel friends and guru, we will be travelling around Uganda for 12 days hitting all the main highlights.... and of course trekking with the famous mountain gorilla, stalking chimpanzees and supporting the wonderful Uganda Pangolin Centre in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Turtles in Cape Verde
Sitting off the west coast of Africa, Cape Verde, or Cabo Verde as it is actually called, is one of Africa's best kept wildlife secrets. With resident ospreys, wild lemon shark nurseries and 15% of the world's nesting loggerhead turtles, it is one not to be missed.
Beyond the ordinary .....
.... and as the great Nelson Mandela once said : "It is in your hands to create a better world for all who live in it."
